Macy's has a big gift-with-purchase section but as many beauty-product obssessed, I like to get the best bang for my buck, so to speak. With Mother's Day imminent, there has been a general cut-back on gifts and more focus on gift-SETS. I think we'll see some great new GWPs after the holiday.

This may not be a whiz-bang of a deal but I love Elizabeth Arden's lipstick(winterberry- something like that) *eye roll*. They have a current promo at Macy's:

This next one is not the greatest GWP except that I got m first bottle of Michael Korrs this wek and the scent is heavenly *harp strums*. If I was going to be restocking my perfume cache and Michael Kors was needed, I'd be all over this deal(also at Macy's). Got to Fragrantica and check out the fragrance profile. It has violet and peony which are two of my favorite notes along with white florals such as labdanum and tuberose. Base notes are cashmerewood, vetiver, etc. It has a decent base that keeps all those florals from just wandering away. I love it from the moment I spray it on until the last of the dry-down. Sillage is relatively intimate. Even though it is a light floral, it is sophisticated enough to be more of and evening fragrance but that is just imho.
Another favorite GWP for me was the D&G train case. It's beautiful! Deep maroon velvet and a small tray that sits inside. Macys and Dolce & Gabbana are still runnng this promo:

Pour Femme is one of my favorites by Dolce&Gabbana- though I will admit I am addicted to a number of their fragrances. They do well with my chemistry. Heh. We have chemistry. :) Again, check out the profile at Fragrantica to see if this is a scent you'd like or would want to buy. It's a win-win- you get the classy, velvety train case and a lovelt perfume that is sweet and fruity opening to a heart of white florals and settling in with a comfortable (slightly-but-not-too-much) powdery finish combined with lovely vanilla.
Finally, Looks like Nordstrom will be putting up a GWP on 5/22/13 for clinique called their Seasonal Gift. Details will be coming later I'm sure. The pic is all I have so far!
There have been some great gifts with purchase lately! I found a new favorite lipstick shade and am tryinf out some of Lancome's Brightening Effect. Its reat when you fwr a GWP and it has goodies you might actually use!
