Van Maur is still running their Estee Lauder GWP and they have also marked down some Coach bags.  I love the crossbody trend- one it keeps me from overloading my purse with nonessentials and two, I've stopped leavig my purse in grocery carts.  No, seriously.  I've done that like 4 times, der.  Check out this cute Poppy Swingpack from Coach marked down to $96 at Van Maur.  While I think this is darling, some may want something more sophisticated so also check out the markdowns of handbags/wallets in the Madison and Legacy lines.

A word on handbags- I carry my purse daily so I tend to more expensive brands(not ridiculously expensive) because I am looking for quality in a product I may be using daily or rotating through several times over the years.  I think there are three things a woman should be happy to pay a little extra for: a great, classic handbag, the perfect little black dress and a signature scent. 

I am absolutely addicted to trying different perfumes but there are only one or two that I tend to rely on for special occasions or regular wear as I love the idea of someone getting a whiff of a perfume, here or anywhere in the world and doing a double-take to see if I am around.  Fragrance, like clothes should flatter YOU personally. If you love how something smells on you, chances are that others will, too.
